Carolyn Joy McCallister, 86, of Sams Valley, Ore. passed away November 26, 2015 at her home. Carolyn was born in Duluth, Minn. December 14, 1928 to Eric and Hildur Eklund.The last of seven children, Carolyn spent much of her childhood on her family’s farm in Barnum, Minn. In 1945, Carolyn’s family moved to Medford, Ore.
