Bert Omann passed away April 18, 2017 at the age of 91. He grew up in Grants Pass and attended Jerome Prairie School. As a youth, he mastered many skills that served him all his life: a strong work ethic, curiosity for knowledge, and passion for excellence at everything he tried.Bert was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War, proudly serving in both the U.S. Army and Navy.He graduated from the School of Horology and won a national handmade watch competition.
