Elva Garrett Lund passed away March 6, 2018 at a foster home in Medford. She was a native Oregonian, born at the old Sacred Heart Hospital in Medford, along with a twin sister, Selda. Her dad and mother, Herb and Meryle Carlton owned a Hereford cattle ranch in the Prospect area. Elva, Selda, and Jack, their brother grew up there, where they worked on the ranch and attended Prospect School all 12 years.
