Bernice R. Ray, 101, passed away January 28, 2016. She was born December 20, 1914 in Malta, Mont. to Louis and Cecilia LaBrie.When Bernice was four years old, the family moved to Grand Rapids, Minn. where she attended school. After graduation, she ventured west and met the love of her life, Earl W. Ray, in Lakeview, Ore. They moved to Medford in 1952, bought a home, and raised their daughter together.
