James Glenn McChesney, 66, passed away February 25, 2016 at his home in Clackamas, Ore. of lymphoma.He lived in Ashland, Ore. from 1997 to 2002 and in Central Point, Ore. from 2002 to 2005. He occasionally wrote columns for the Mail Tribune. He was a speechwriter and journalist, and was Dave Frohnmayer’s primary speechwriter during his entire tenure as president of the University of Oregon. [...]
