Otto Carl Kahnert went home to be with the Lord October 29, 2015 at the age of 87. Otto was born March 15, 1928, the sixth of six children born to Fredrick and Lena (Gerler) Kahnert in New Wells, Mo.Otto’s first language was German, but learned English in school.
