Dennis Richard Smith Sr., 83, returned to his heavenly home May 5, 2016. His devotion to family and his firm belief in Jesus Christ supported him and his family during his illness and ultimately gave him peace. He was born August 15, 1932 to Judson "Dean" and Mirian Smith, a machinist and a homemaker respectively, in Fort Dodge, Iowa.Dennis was immersed in a Christian community from an early age that would be his lifelong support.
